"Jarrod" Spoon Indigo Tenugui

Jarrod’s spoon designs on a medium weight 100% cotton tenugui—a traditional Japanese decorative towel. Can be used as a hand towel, face cloth, dish towel, neckerchief, sushi chef headband, bandana, wall decoration, table runner, and as gift wrap. ~13in x 37.5in. Printed with rice paste resist and persimmon tannin paper stencil, then dyed in an indigo vat. The indigo blue comes from plant leaves via Watanabe’s Sukumo Indigo Kit, grown in Japan

Machine wash and dry or hang dry.

Hand dyed in a fermentation dye vat in Northern Wisconsin by @loveblueindigo
