This is a small version of this traditional french basket—‘’ajouré’’ means open to the daylight—openwork. The base is made from carved birch slats. Serve brioche buns, pile up knitting projects or display your treasures in this light basket. White willow is soaked in the spring and the bark peeled off. Willow is imported from Europe.
